The Beetle Blaster is a very practical small trap to protect the bee population against the Aethina tumida beetles. The plastic trays are used between the frames.
This beetle trap has several advantages: efficient, cheap, very easy to install, environmentally friendly and without impact on the life of the hive.
The operation of the Beetle Blaster is simple: once placed in the heart of the hive, between two frames, it attracts beetles thanks to the vegetable oil that is poured into the trap beforehand (corn oil, sunflower, ect.).
 
User manual:
1. Partially fill the trap with edible vegetable oil. You can add a hint of apple cider vinegar to increase the attractiveness of Beetle Blaster. Do not fill the trap completely or the beetles can get out.
2. Then place the Beetle Blaster on top of the frames, if possible in staggered rows, because the small beetle is often found on the edge. Depending on the extent of Aethina tumida infection, place one or more traps between the broodchamber and the super. 
3. Raise your traps from time to time to find out if your hive is infected. If the Beetle Blaster is full, remove it.
