Breedhive with 3 compartments

This breeding 3-compartment  Dadant- Blatt hive is designed for the production of royal jelly or queen cells. Each side hive can hold 10 dadant -blatt frames (not included).

This hive simplifies queen breeding. The principle is based on the division of the hive into 3 compartments. The hive can accommodate two colonies separated in a central compartment where the beekeeper inserts frames with brood that will be fed by young nurse bees from the colonies on the sides. These feeders take care of the queen cells until they hatch. The 3 compartments are separated by queen grids.
