Hornet and wasp trap bottem 50 x 43 cm

This wasp and hornet trap consists of a bottom and a cassette. There are four entrances on each side. Wasps, hornets and other enemies of the bee (including the wax moth) that enter the hive through these side entrances, are stuck in the cassette and cannot escape. There is a separate entrance at the front where the bees can enter the hive as usual. When using the trap for the first time, use the slats provided to block the side entrances so that the bees only use the main entrance.

After a minimum of 3 days you can remove the slats on the side. Your bees will continue to use and monitor the main entrance. The enemies of your bees, attracted by the sound and smell of the colony, will want to avoid the guarded main entrance and use the side entrances. This way they will get trapped. Because no chemicals or lures are used, this trap is environmentally friendly and safe for your bees.
