Hornet trap Belgian trap - new model 8 inlets

The Belgian Trap© is a selective hornet trap designed and developed especially for the Asian hornet. This new model has 8 instead of 2 tapered inlets. Six inlets in the queen grid and one at each end. All inlets have a diameter of at least +- 8 mm. The European hornet, larger than the Asian hornet, cannot enter. Other insects that might enter can escape through the queen excluder. The model is painted red, a colour particularly attractive to the Asian hornet. We recommend you put the trap in the freezer for a few hours to kill the hornets in the trap.
