The pollen grains or pollen are collected by the bees as food, for it is their only source of protein. The harvesting is done with a simple grid at the entrance of your hive that collects the pollen from their legs. However, only a small percentage of the pollen is always taken, as it is far too valuable for the bees. For us, it is a good addition to our daily diet.
