Top bar with inpection window and 26 bars 112x58 cm

There are no frames in the top bar hive. The bees only attach their comb to the 26 top bars. The top bars sit directly - without any gaps - against each other so that they also close off the hive at the top. Because only one slit needs to be open each time the hive is inspected, the inspection of a top bar hive is often much more relaxed than an inspection of a regular hive. This version of the top bar is equipped with a window so that the bees can be observed without opening the hive.
