Wick n°2 = 1,7 mm per meter for beeswax

With a candle, the wick is in the lengthwise direction of the candle. If you light a candle, the candle wax will first melt by the heat of the match. The liquid candle wax is then sucked up by the wick, after which the candle burns. A new candle is more difficult to light because there is no candle wax in the wick yet.

Wick number 2 is sufficient for candles ø 2,5 - 3 cm
Wick number 3 is sufficient for candles ø 3 cm
Wick number 5 is sufficient for candles ø 5 - 5,5 cm
Wick number 7 is sufficient for candles ø 6 cm
Wick number 9 is sufficient for candles ø 7 - 8 cm
